Designed for demonstrating Hooke’s Law and measuring the elongation of a spring under different loads. Comprises a spiral spring of 15 mm diameter and 10 cm length, firmly attached at the top to a rigid clamp and stand . The lower end of the spring is attached to a slotted weight hanger using a chuck nut. A pointer is fixed horizontally at the lower end of the spring, just above the hanger, for precise measurement of displacement. A half-meter vertical scale is mounted on the stand in front of the pointer; the pointer tip moves over the scale without touching it , ensuring accurate readings. Supplied with a set of 50 × 5 g slotted weights for varying the load. Ideal for experiments on spring elongation, force vs. extension, and practical verification of Hooke’s Law .
