Suspended by two strings of equal length from a rigid support, ensuring stable oscillation. Includes heavy T-shaped clamp with two split chucks mounted on a sturdy base for secure suspension. Strings are positioned so that, when suspended, they are equally inclined to the horizontal plane of the plate. Allows precise calculation of the moment of inertia for rectangular cross-section metals.
