Annealed glass barometer tube mounted in a brass casing with metrical (mm) and English (inch) scales from 640–810 mm , vernier reading to 1/100 inch and 1/10 mm . Mercury level adjusted with a knurled screw at the casing base; allows thermal expansion. Corning glass tube and scale covers for durability. Mounted on polished wooden board with metal thermometer. Supplied without mercury .
